Crypto Billionaires Donate $9.4M to Farage's Reform UK in Q1 2026

Cryptocurrency billionaires Christopher Harborne and Ben Delo donated $9.4 million (£7 million) to Nigel Farage's Reform UK party in the first quarter of 2026. Harborne, who holds a 12% stake in stablecoin issuer Tether, contributed £3 million on January 23, while BitMEX co-founder Delo provided £4 million across two payments in January and March. The combined donations accounted for 28% of all political party donations received in Q1 2026 and exceeded the total fundraising of both the Conservative Party (£6 million) and Labour Party (£4.1 million).
