Crypto Market Sees $100M in Liquidations in 24 Hours, Short Positions Hit Hardest

According to CoinGlass, the crypto market experienced $100 million in liquidations over the past 24 hours, with short positions accounting for $65.55 million of that total. Long positions were liquidated for $34.62 million. Bitcoin saw $20.39 million in liquidations, while Ethereum faced $14.89 million. The liquidations affected 62,490 traders, with the largest single liquidation occurring on Hyperliquid's BTC-USD pair at $3.92 million.
