Crypto Market Sees $275M in Liquidations Over 24 Hours, 88,226 Traders Affected

According to Coinglass data cited by ChainCatcher, the cryptocurrency market recorded $275 million in liquidations over the past 24 hours, with long liquidations accounting for $121 million and short liquidations for $154 million. Bitcoin longs were liquidated for $18.09 million while shorts totaled $72.4 million; Ethereum saw $30.8 million in long liquidations and $22.85 million in short liquidations. A total of 88,226 traders were liquidated, with the largest single liquidation occurring on Hyperliquid at $2.937 million for XYZ:COIN-USD.
