According to Jin10, Cuba's Revolutionary Armed Forces Chief of Staff Roberto Regla Sotolong and U.S. Southern Command Commander Donovan held a meeting on May 29 to discuss security matters around the Guantanamo Naval Base's perimeter. Both sides agreed to maintain communication at the military command level, according to a statement from Cuba's Revolutionary Armed Forces Ministry and subsequent social media posts from U.S. Southern Command.
