According to PANews on May 8, DeepSeek plans to raise up to RMB 50 billion in its first funding round, which would mark the largest single fundraising by a Chinese AI company. Founder and CEO Liang Wenfeng is expected to contribute the maximum amount. The company plans to accelerate large language model iterations and launch V4.1, an updated version of its V4 model, in June.
