Dell Adds 1,000 Customers for AI Factory in Past Quarter, Reaching 5,000 Total

According to Bloomberg, Dell added 1,000 customers for its AI Factory server business in the past quarter, bringing the total to 5,000 as it targets large companies running AI on their own infrastructure. The line combines Nvidia chips with software and services, with Eli Lilly, Honeywell, and Samsung using it for drug discovery and chip factory design. Dell also introduced Deskside Agentic AI, which runs on customers' machines instead of the cloud, and is working with Google, Palantir, SpaceX, and Mistral AI on private and hybrid deployments.
