Doge Meme Owner Clarifies CATE Token Unrelated, Endorses Only DOG and COCORO on July 28

According to BlockBeats, on July 28, Atsuko Sato, the owner of Kabosu (the Shiba Inu behind the Doge meme), clarified that CATE tokens circulating in the market have no connection to her. She stated that her Instagram post was unauthorized used to issue fraudulent tokens falsely associated with her.

Sato emphasized that Own The Doge is the sole project formally authorized to manage her intellectual property. The project acquired the Doge NFT in 2021, launched the DOG token, and introduced COCORO token on Base network in 2025. She urged the public to rely on official sources and remain cautious of unauthorized projects using her name.
