Echo Protocol's Monad Admin Keys Compromised, $816,000 in Assets Affected

According to Echo Protocol, administrator keys for its Monad deployment were compromised, leading to unauthorized minting and approximately $816,000 in asset losses. The team has regained control of the admin keys and destroyed 955 remaining eBTC tokens held by the attacker. The Monad network itself remains unaffected, and the protocol has paused cross-chain functionality on the Monad deployment while upgrading its EVM bridge contracts and permission control mechanisms.
