According to Ventureburn, AI robotics company Enigma has completed a $71 million seed funding round led by Index Ventures and Ribbit Capital, with participation from Conviction Partners and individual investors including figures from OpenAI, Anthropic, DeepMind, xAI, Cognition, and Wiz. The funding will support expansion of research and engineering teams, enhanced compute infrastructure, and increased real-world deployment.
Enigma, founded 11 months ago, has developed over 100 proprietary robotic systems operating across California and Israel. The company focuses on human-robot interaction as the primary barrier to robot adoption, employing a hardware-agnostic platform compatible with different manufacturers' robotic devices.
