Ethereum Foundation's Kohaku Releases Privacy SDK for Wallet Integration

ETH-0.17%

According to The Defiant, Ethereum Foundation's Kohaku Initiative released an SDK enabling direct wallet-level integration of privacy protocols including Railgun, Tornado Cash, and Privacy Pools without intermediaries. The toolkit routes all privacy protocol transactions through EIP-4337 (account abstraction) mempools, allowing users to maintain self-custody while eliminating dependency on centralized relayers.

Tornado Cash and Privacy Pools integrations are currently in development, with Railgun already operational through the 4337 mempool relay. Wallet partners including Ambire are integrating the SDK, and a browser extension wallet is in development.
