Ethereum Withdrawals From BitMart Surge to 12-Month High After Wind-Down Notice

ETH-3.41%

According to CryptoQuant data, Ethereum withdrawals from BitMart surged to a 12-month high after the exchange reopened withdrawals within the last day. BitMart announced on July 26 that it would wind down trading entirely, halting registrations, deposits, and new orders effective immediately. Full trading services end on August 26, with withdrawals remaining open through January 2027.

The withdrawal spike reflects users rushing to move funds before the final deadline. BitMart had briefly frozen withdrawals before reopening them, triggering the exodus. ETH has remained stable near $1,881 according to BeInCrypto data, with broader market trading volume unaffected by the news, suggesting the impact remains contained to BitMart's user base.
