EU Adds Chinese Enterprises to 21st Sanctions Package Against Russia, China Lodges Formal Objection on July 24

According to China's mission to the EU, on July 24, the European Union added Chinese enterprises to its sanctions list in the 21st round of sanctions against Russia. The Chinese mission expressed strong dissatisfaction and resolute opposition, stating that China had repeatedly raised serious objections with the EU. A spokesperson said China has taken corresponding countermeasures to firmly safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese enterprises, and urged the EU to immediately correct its erroneous approach and eliminate its adverse impact.
