European Major Indices Rise on Friday, May 22; DAX Leads with 0.79% Gain

On May 22, European major stock indices opened higher across the board. Germany's DAX30 rose 150.80 points (0.61%) to 24,807.56; France's CAC40 gained 52.11 points (0.64%) to 8,138.11; and the Stoxx50 advanced 46.83 points (0.79%) to 6,007.15. Britain's FTSE100 added 35.46 points (0.34%) to 10,478.93, while Spain's IBEX35 increased 97.18 points (0.54%) to 18,072.38, and Italy's FTSE MIB climbed 288.80 points (0.59%) to 49,457.50.
