According to SpaceX announcement reported by ChainCatcher, F2Pool co-founder Wang Chun will serve as mission commander for the company's first crewed interplanetary mission, executing an approximately two-year flight. The mission will explore space beyond the Earth-Moon system, then fly by Mars before returning to Earth. Before the interplanetary mission, Wang Chun will participate in a crewed lunar orbit flight aboard Starship, planned to pass within 200 kilometers of the Moon's surface. Wang Chun previously commanded the Fram2 polar orbit mission in 2025.
