Fantasy Top Shuts Down in June After Returning Over $20M to Players

According to the company, Fantasy Top, an NFT gaming platform, will permanently shut down at the end of June after returning over US$20 million to players during its two-year operation. The platform also distributed US$3.2 million to crypto influencers whose likenesses were featured in trading cards. Fantasy Top concluded that the economics of crypto trading conflicted with traditional trading card game models, making long-term sustainability impossible.
