The UK's parliamentary standards commissioner has launched an inquiry into whether Nigel Farage breached the House of Commons Code of Conduct by failing to declare £5 million ($6.8 million) received from Christopher Harborne, a Thailand-based British cryptocurrency investor. Farage accepted the sum shortly before winning election to Parliament in 2024, claiming it was a private gift intended to cover his personal security costs.
