According to CME's Fed Watch tool, as of July 10, the probability of the Federal Reserve holding interest rates steady in July is 74.9%, with a 25.1% chance of a 25 basis point hike. For September, the odds shift to a 35.7% probability of no rate change, a 51.1% probability of a cumulative 25 basis point increase, and a 13.1% probability of a cumulative 50 basis point increase.
