Federal Reserve Unlikely to Tighten Monetary Policy in Near Term, Possibly After 2027

According to TsLombard, as reported by Jin10 on May 17, the Federal Reserve is unlikely to implement monetary policy tightening in the near term, and if it does occur, it will almost certainly be after 2027. Globally, central banks' policy tightening in response to oil price shocks will likely be limited, with aggressive tightening cycles unlikely. In Europe, rising energy costs continue to weigh on economic activity, and the ECB and Bank of England are expected to tighten less than the market anticipates this year.
