Finnish AI Lab QuTwo Completes $29M Seed Round at $380M Valuation; Founder's Prior Company Silo AI Sold to AMD for $665M

According to Beating, Finnish AI lab QuTwo completed a 25 million euro (approximately $29 million) seed round with a post-valuation of 325 million euros (approximately $380 million). Founder and Executive Chairman Peter Sarlin previously founded Silo AI, which AMD acquired for $665 million in 2024.

QuTwo OS is a computing orchestration layer that distributes tasks across classical chips, quantum processors, or hybrid architectures. The company has secured approximately 20 million euros in contract revenue, with customers including retailer Zalando and OP Financial Group, Finland's largest financial services provider. Seed investors include DST Global founder Yuri Milner, Skype co-founder Niklas Zennström, and founders from Supercell, Wolt, and Miro.
