According to CCTV, the first direct freight train from the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau to Vietnam departed from Shuangzhai Station recently, marking a breakthrough in cross-border rail transport. The train comprises 35 containers operating on a full rail route, significantly reducing logistics duration and lowering enterprise transportation costs. The corridor now enables regional chemical and new materials producers to access Southeast Asian markets more efficiently.
