According to Foresight News, FLock.io's privacy-preserving AI healthcare case recently received spotlight recognition from the World Economic Forum's (WEF) MINDS program, securing a dedicated project page. The case demonstrates how FLock.io uses decentralized federated learning to enable healthcare institutions to collaborate on AI model training without centralizing sensitive patient data.
FLock.io is currently advancing AI applications with the University College London Hospital Foundation Trust (UCLH) and Moorfields Eye Hospital, part of the UK National Health Service (NHS), covering diabetes glucose prediction and eye disease detection. The glucose prediction model has been trained on data from over 400 patients, while the diabetes management application supported by FLock.io currently serves approximately 14,000 end users.
