Foreign Investors Add $69.76B to A-Share Holdings in Q1 2026, Raising Stakes in Chinese Assets

According to Jin10 Data, foreign investors including Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, JPMorgan, and UBS significantly increased their A-share holdings as of the end of Q1 2026. The latest statistics show that foreign investors appeared among the top 10 shareholders of 1,549 A-share listed companies, holding a combined 14.3 billion shares valued at 237.08 billion yuan. Compared to end of 2025, foreign investors added 4.68 billion shares with holdings surging by 69.76 billion yuan, marking the highest increase in recent years and signaling strong confidence in Chinese assets.
