According to Korea Exchange, as of July 6, foreign investors' Samsung Electronics holdings fell to their lowest level since the 2009 financial crisis. Simultaneously, retail traders' margin buying (borrowing to invest) in semiconductor stocks reached record highs this month, with total margin credit balance surging to historically elevated levels.
