Former Qualcomm Executive Alex Katouzian Joins Intel as EVP of Client Computing and Physical AI on May 4

Intel announced on May 4 that Alex Katouzian, a veteran executive from Qualcomm, has joined the company as executive vice president and general manager of the Client Computing and Physical AI Group, reporting directly to CEO Chen Lixu. Katouzian spent 25 years at Qualcomm, most recently serving as executive vice president and general manager of the Mobile, Computing & XR business group, where he was instrumental in expanding the Snapdragon brand across smartphones and PCs. The Client Computing Group, Intel’s core business, has been merged with the Physical AI division to form a unified business unit focused on AI PCs, edge AI inference, and intelligent devices. Katouzian brings over 35 years of semiconductor industry experience.
