Fund Managers' Equity Allocation Surges to 50% Overweight in May, Up from 13% Last Month

GateNews
According to Bank of America's latest survey conducted from May 8 to May 14, fund managers surged their equity allocation to 50% overweight from 13% in the previous month—the steepest month-over-month jump since 2001. The survey included 200 investors—chief investment officers, strategists, and portfolio managers—managing $517 billion in assets. This marks the highest stock allocation since January 2022, before stocks declined amid rising inflation and energy prices.
