Gate launched a stock copy trading feature on July 24, becoming the world’s first crypto platform to support stock copy trading.

According to Gate’s official announcement on July 24, 2026, Gate has officially launched the stock copy-trading feature—becoming the first crypto platform globally to support stock copy-trading. Users can one-click follow top lead traders from the stock copy-trading homepage, real-time replicate their actual stock positions, and participate in the U.S. stock, Hong Kong stock, South Korean stock, and all-category ETF markets.

The feature covers more than 12,500 tradable stock and ETF targets, supports fractional-share copy-trading, and allows entry with as little as 0.01 shares. Copy-trading uses a proportional replication mechanism to restore the lead trader’s real stock holdings structure on a 1:1 basis. Professional brokers provide real market access capabilities.

Gate’s stock copy-trading adopts an HWM (high-water mark) profit-sharing mechanism. A new profit-sharing calculation is triggered only when the copier’s cumulative net profit/loss exceeds the historical highest watermark. During loss periods, no profit-sharing is generated. The feature supports 24/7 operation and is not limited by traditional market open and close hours.
