Gate News: According to a Gate official announcement

Gate officially includes real stock spot trading volume in the VIP tier evaluation criteria. Effective immediately, users’ stock spot trading volume will be counted toward the "spot trading volume over the last 30 days" dimension in the VIP tier evaluation, enabling stock spot trading users to upgrade VIP benefits based on their trading volume.

Under the upgraded calculation formula, trading volume over the last 30 days consists of: the last-30-days spot trading volume (including flash swaps and stocks), 40% of the last-30-days futures trading volume, 20% of the last-30-days options trading volume, and 10% of the last-30-days CFD contract trading volume. This optimization is intended to measure users’ trading contributions and value more comprehensively.
