Gate P2P has added support for Bolivian boliviano (BOB). Starting May 6, 2026, users can buy and sell cryptocurrencies using BOB, with zero trading fees. The platform has integrated major local payment methods in Bolivia, including Banco Unión, Banco Nacional de Bolivia (BNB), Banco Unión Santa Cruz, Tigo Money, and other local bank transfers.

Assets currently supported for BOB trading include USDT, BTC, ETH, and more. This move is intended to provide more localized liquidity and convenient payment options for the rapidly growing user community in South America.

Gate P2P is also recruiting local merchants. Eligible BOB merchants can receive benefits such as a verified merchant badge, 24-hour account support, increased visibility within the P2P marketplace, and recommendations for regional marketing campaigns.
