Gate will first launch on July 21 four HK-listed Quanto perpetual futures contracts from Tencent, Zhipu, and others, offering 1x–20x leverage.

Gate News: According to an official announcement from Gate, Gate will first launch four Quanto Perpetual Contracts—TENCENTHKD, ZHIPUHKD, MINIMAXHKD, and XIAOMIHKD—on July 21, 2026 at 16:30 (UTC+8). The contracts support both long and short trading with 1–20x leverage, which users can select when placing an order.

TENCENTHKD uses Tencent Holdings (00700.HK) as its underlying; ZHIPUHKD uses Zhipu (02513.HK) as its underlying; MINIMAXHKD uses MINIMAX-W (00100.HK) as its underlying; XIAOMIHKD uses Xiaomi Group (01810.HK) as its underlying. Each contract is quoted on a 1:1 basis for USDT:Hong Kong dollars.

The core feature of Quanto contracts is that the underlying asset is quoted in local fiat currency, while margin and unrealized/realized profit and loss (PnL) are settled in USDT. Users do not need to convert currencies in advance, and there is no foreign-exchange step between Hong Kong dollars and USDT throughout the entire trading process. The profit and loss (PnL), trading fee, and liquidation (forced close) calculation formulas for Quanto perpetual contracts are consistent with those for USDT-margined perpetual contracts.
