GCash Deploys AI-Driven Lending Tool, Secures 1.8B Pesos ADB Credit Facility for MSMEs

According to GCash, its lending arm Fuse Financing Inc. uses an AI-driven underwriting tool to offer collateral-free loans targeting first-time borrowers and micro, small, and medium enterprises. The platform has secured a 1.8 billion pesos (US$28.4 million) credit facility from the Asian Development Bank, aimed at supporting women-led and rural MSMEs. As of January 2025, GCash operates with 94 million active users and works with over 6 million partner merchants and social sellers.
