Germany Signs €3.24 Billion Contract for JASSM Missiles from Norwegian Manufacturer Konsberg on May 19

According to weapons manufacturer Konsberg, Germany signed a €3.24 billion air-launched cruise missile procurement contract with Norway on May 19. Konsberg announced that Germany became the fifth country to select the Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile (JASSM) for its F-35 fighter jets. The contract was concluded as a government-to-government trade agreement between Norway and Germany.
