Germany's Eurofighter Tranche 4 'Quadriga' Completes Maiden Test Flight on July 14 With Advanced AESA Radar

According to Yonhapnews, Germany's Eurofighter Tranche 4 'Quadriga' model completed its maiden test flight on July 14 at the Airbus Manching facility in Bavaria, lasting approximately one hour.

The new variant will replace aging Tranche 1 aircraft, with 38 units to be procured. Tranche 4 features upgraded avionics including an AESA (active electronically scanned array) radar capable of simultaneous multi-target tracking, enhancing the fighter's combat capabilities.
