Grab Takes Control of Superbank, Lifts Combined Stake Above 50% on May 20

According to The Business Times, on May 20, Grab took control of Indonesian digital lender Superbank after Singtel transferred its stake to GXS Bank, lifting Grab's combined holding above 50%. Superbank, listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in December 2025, had a market value of approximately US$1.6 billion. As of April 2026, the company had over six million customers and recorded more than one million daily transactions. Superbank will be fully consolidated into Grab's results from May 2026.
