Hana Asset Management Launches Nvidia-Alphabet Bond-Stock ETF on July 28

According to Maeil Business Newspaper, Hana Asset Management plans to launch a hybrid ETF combining Nvidia and Alphabet on July 28. The product follows a barbell strategy, pairing high-growth tech stocks with stable bonds and offering monthly dividend payouts. Market data shows similar products targeting South Korean blue chips—Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix combinations—have attracted significant inflows, with KB Asset Management's product recording 30.7% returns and 3.9 trillion won in assets. The strategy appeals to retirement account investors, as stocks below 50% of fund composition qualify as safe assets under local pension regulations, allowing full portfolio allocation to such products.
