Hanwha Q Cells Secures 200MW Solar Supply Deal for Meta in Indiana

According to its announcement on July 6, Hanwha Q Cells has signed a contract with U.S. renewable energy developer Zelestra Energy to supply approximately 320,000 solar modules and provide engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services for a 200MW solar facility in Gibson County, Indiana. The project will produce enough renewable energy to power roughly 36,000 U.S. households annually and is expected to be completed by the end of 2027. Under a power purchase agreement between Zelestra and Meta, electricity generated from the facility will supply Meta's operations. The project converts a former coal mining site into a renewable energy hub.
