Heavy Rainfall in Guangxi Kills 4, Leaves 8 Missing; 53,808 Evacuated on July 7

According to Guangxi authorities, heavy rainfall in Hengzhou City resulted in 4 deaths and 8 people missing as of July 7 at 11 a.m. local time. Among the city's 84,700 affected residents, authorities have urgently relocated and sheltered 53,808 people out of the 54,468 who needed evacuation. The remaining 660 residents are being withdrawn in batches and evacuation is expected to be completed by end of day, according to state broadcaster CCTV.
