According to Korean Economic Daily, HIVE reported record Q2 revenue of 1.45 trillion Korean won and operating profit of 170.9 billion won on July 28, but its stock fell 16.09% to 188,800 Korean won as investor sentiment weakened over lower-than-expected earnings.
Net profit came in at 109.8 billion won, missing analyst consensus of 132.5 billion won by 17.1%, while operating profit beat expectations by 9.9%. The shortfall, combined with concerns about slowing momentum in the second half following BTS tour peaks and reduced BTS contribution in 2027, pressured the stock despite the record quarterly results.
