Hong Kong Legislative Council Members to Conduct Research Visit to Beijing for First Time Since Handover, July 19-25

According to Jin10, Hong Kong Legislative Council President Li Hui-qiong announced today (May 21) that all legislative members will conduct a research and study visit to Beijing from July 19 to 25. This will be the first time all lawmakers visit Beijing since Hong Kong's return to China. The itinerary includes visits to central government agencies such as the State Council's Hong Kong and Macau Affairs Office, thematic lectures covering national strategic guidance, five-year planning, geopolitical landscape, national security, and digital China construction, as well as site inspections of emerging industries.
