According to ChainCatcher, the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) issued a warning today against fraudulent schemes impersonating the Investor Compensation Fund. Scammers target previous investment loss victims, falsely claiming they qualify for compensation and demanding deposits or processing fees to arrange payouts, resulting in secondary losses for victims.
