On July 15 at the open, Hong Kong's key stock indices rose, with the Hang Seng Index up 0.87% and the Hang Seng Tech Index up 0.78%. Tech shares led gains, with Tencent Holdings up 2.1%, Lenovo Group surging 3%, and Baidu rising 1%. Long Fei Fiber-optic Cable jumped nearly 15%, with the company projecting first-half net profit to grow 711%–914% year-over-year.
