Hong Kong Stocks Open Lower as Hang Seng Index Falls 278 Points, Alibaba Drops 3%

Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index opened down 278 points, or 1.1%, to 24,932 points today, while the National Index fell 94 points to 8,257 points and the Tech Index declined 87 points to 4,611 points. Tech giants led the decline, with Alibaba shares falling 3% to 111.5 Hong Kong dollars, followed by Meituan, Kuaishou, and Netease, each down over 2%.
