Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index Rises 0.41% to Challenge 250-Day Line Overnight, U.S. Stocks Mixed

Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index rose 103 points, or 0.41%, to close at 25,310 on July 28, with trading volume reaching 250.6 billion yuan, according to market data. Northbound capital inflows recorded net outflows for the fourth consecutive day, totaling approximately 10 billion yuan in cumulative outflows over four trading sessions.

U.S. stocks showed mixed performance overnight. The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 537 points, or 1.03%, to 52,747; the S&P 500 rose 16 points, or 0.21%, to 7,428; the Nasdaq Composite fell 55 points, or 0.22%, to 24,876. The Philadelphia Semiconductor Index, however, dropped 4.49% to 11,035, as chip stocks including Micron, SK Hynix ADR, and SanDisk declined between 8.9% and 14.3%.
