Hungary Repeals Crypto Validator Requirement as CoinCash Receives First MiCA License

According to Ado.hu and the National Bank of Hungary, Hungary's parliament voted on Tuesday to repeal the country's mandatory crypto validator requirement, removing a third-party approval step for certain crypto transactions. The move comes as CoinCash operator Tiwala Solutions received the National Bank of Hungary's authorization under the EU's Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) regulation on July 20, marking Hungary's first MiCA license for a crypto asset service provider.

Finance Minister Kármán András stated the government removed the validation requirement after previous rules disrupted the market and prompted service providers to suspend operations. CoinCash, which voluntarily paused services in December 2025 while pursuing compliance, now plans to gradually resume trading and expand into additional MiCA-regulated offerings including custody, crypto-to-fiat exchange, and portfolio management.
