HYPE Surpasses SOL at $74.47, Solana Hits Lowest Level Since 2023 on Wednesday

According to The Block, reported by ChainCatcher, Hyperliquid's HYPE token price surpassed Solana on Wednesday, with SOL declining to its lowest level since 2023. HYPE traded at $74.47, up from a record high of $74.67 on Tuesday, exceeding Solana's price of $71.62. Over the past month, HYPE gained approximately 24%, making it one of the few top-20 crypto assets in positive territory, while Solana dropped nearly 14%. By market capitalization, Solana still leads at roughly $42 billion compared to Hyperliquid's approximately $16 billion, though the gap is narrowing rapidly.
