According to BlockBeats, on May 20, Hyperliquid updated its HIP-3 documentation, lowering the 500,000 HYPE staking requirement for perpetual DEX deployment. The updated document states the requirement "will be reduced progressively as infrastructure matures," with any staked HYPE exceeding future thresholds eligible for unstaking. The documentation also clarifies that any deployer meeting staking requirements can deploy a permanent DEX, with each maintaining independent margin, order books, and deployer settings. Future upgrades may enable multiple DEX deployments to share a single deployer and staking requirement.
