Hyperliquid Whale Closes $27.8M BTC Short at $76.7K, Plans Fresh $40M Short Bet on May 19

According to BlockBeats, on May 19, a major short trader on Hyperliquid closed 363.2 BTC at $76,774 (worth $27.8 million) and 2,808 ETH at $2,130 (worth $5.98 million), totaling approximately $33.8 million in liquidated positions, according to Hyperinsight monitoring.

Immediately after, the same address posted fresh sell orders to short 257.2 BTC in the $77,500-$78,000 range (approximately $40 million) and 4,484 ETH at $2,230 (approximately $10 million).
