According to ETF CHECK, Hyundai Motor-themed exchange-traded funds launched earlier this year recorded sharp declines over the past month (June 22–July 21). ACE K Humanoid Robot Industry TOP2+ fell 31.22%, RISE Hyundai Motor Fixed Physical AI dropped 30.08%, and KODEX Hyundai Motor Robotics Value Chain TOP3+ declined 22.29%. Hyundai Motor shares closed at 399,000 won on July 21, breaking below the 400,000 won threshold for the first time in about six months.
The ETFs, initially designed to capture upside from Hyundai's humanoid robots, autonomous driving, and AI initiatives, faced headwinds as the automaker's stock came under pressure from mounting U.S. tariff concerns and weaker-than-expected second-quarter earnings outlook. KB Securities downgraded Hyundai Motor's target price from 1.2 million won to 900,000 won, citing the weaker earnings forecast and production delays from domestic supplier fire incidents and Turkey plant maintenance.
