IAEA Confirms Drone Strike on Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Plant's Radiation Lab on May 3

According to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), a drone struck the external radiation monitoring laboratory at Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Station on May 3. The IAEA reported no casualties and said damage assessment was pending. The laboratory is located outside the plant’s perimeter fence. IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi reiterated that any attack near nuclear facilities poses potential nuclear safety risks.
