According to Bitwise, individuals control 66.1% of Bitcoin supply, while businesses hold 7.8% and investment funds 7.2%, the digital asset manager disclosed on Monday. The data, based on onchain analysis and public wallet tracking, shows that institutions collectively control just 15% of BTC, with the remainder spanning governments, miners and unaccounted wallets.
