On July 5, Injective launched an open-source Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that enables AI agents to convert natural language instructions into signed blockchain transactions. The infrastructure includes 22 integrated tools supporting market data retrieval, trading, token transfers, and asset bridging, along with AES-256 encryption to protect cryptographic keys. According to CEO Eric Chen, the MCP server allows AI agents to transform user intent into signed on-chain trades within seconds, significantly streamlining the trading process. Injective made the MCP server fully open source, allowing developers worldwide to inspect the codebase and build additional applications on top of the protocol.
